ASTRO SUMMER CAMP 2017 takes place in a central location in Heraklion, the capital city of Crete Island, where participants can enjoy comfort in walking around the city to discover the Heraklion center.

Heraklion city center is the downtown hub of the city, surrounded by the city walls, where the center (the old city) is full of attractions , restaurants, cafes, stores and museums and historic monuments.

We suggest all our participants to book their accomadation in the Heraklion city, where there are numerous hotels are located in city center to select from. Let us also remind that, Crete is a very busy tourist destination especially in summer time and it is suggested to do the necessary hotel bookings as early as possible to guarantee required avilabilities in preferred venues while benefiting from early reservation prices.
